No, I’m not sheltered. I just don’t like double standards and hypocrisy and I don’t think it’s ever okay to judge anyone based on their race, ever.
Institutional racism towards white people is certainly unlikely in America, due to the power enjoyed by a small minority of white people in the upper echelons of society. Personal racism, however, knows no socio-economic barriers. Would anyone honestly argue that a white person getting beaten up for being white is not an act inspired by racism? Of course it is. Ask any white person who’s attended a majority black school, and they’ll tell you they’ve encountered racism.
The really ironic thing about this is that these ultra-PC folks who think racism against whites is impossible are actually being racist against every other race. They’re making the declaration that other races are somehow incapable of the feelings that lead to racism. That sounds pretty fucking racist to me.
